EFSD and Boehringer Ingelheim European Research Programme on "Multi-System Challenges in Diabetes, Obesity and Cardiometabolic Disease"

  • Grants for basic and clinical research on the inter-organ crosstalk and related pathophysiology in diabetes, obesity and cardiometabolic disease

EFSD and Lilly European Diabetes Research Programme

  • Grants for basic and clinical research on diabetes

EFSD and Sanofi European Diabetes Research Programme on autoimmunity in type 1 diabetes

  • Grants for basic and clinical studies
  • Intended to stimulate and accelerate European research aimed at improving understanding of any aspect of autoimmunity in type 1 diabetes, its pathogenesis, screening and monitoring, its clinical course and its interventions
  • Accepts applications February - 2 May

  • Travel research fellowships for up to 3 months for PhD students and Postdocs worldwide

EFSD and JDS Reciprocal Travel Research Fellowship Programme

  • Travel research fellowships to or from Japan (up to 12 months)

EFSD and Lilly Young Investigator Research Award Programme

  • Young investigator research awards for basic and clinical research projects on diabetes
  • Accepts applications November - 15 February

EFSD and Novo Nordisk Foundation Future Leaders Award Programme

  • Career development awards of 5 years for basic and clinical diabetes research
  • Accepts applications December - 18 March

EASD Rising Star Symposium and EFSD Rising Star Fellowship Programme supported by Novo Nordisk

  • Research Fellowships for basic and clinical research projects on diabetes and the opportunity to present during a multidisciplinary research symposium at the EASD Annual Meeting
  • Accepts applications November - 15 February
